Daily routine

Coffee
For the last couple weeks, it has been my morning routine to get up, make a coffee and sit and journal.
This is this mornings photo, with my first ever cup of plunged coffee - the plunger was a gift I received yesterday.
I have no idea why I've never tried plunger coffee before.
It beats my instant coffee hands down.
I could get addicted.In other news, I'm considering buying a polaroid camera.
At first, the price of the films put me off.
It still kind of does, but there is just something about the 'vintage-ness' of it that really appeals to me.
Maybe its still worth looking into.
Will see what the new year brings.

Up until now, we didn't have many photo's together, so I suppose I'm making up for lost time.
She is a super cute kid...

Will try to get something a bit different tomorrow.
It is a bit hard to get around with a broken ankle and healing surgery wounds.

A photo I love

My gorgeous girl and I.
I haven't had her with me since Tuesday last week and I missed her so much!
This child is everything to me, one of the most important people in my life, I cannot imagine life without her in it...the funny things she says just cracks me up constantly. She truly is a little mini me.So, one of the things on my bucket list was to be more creative.
I have this journal...its starting to wear on the front, and I've only been keeping it for a month or so now. I will need to buy a new one very soon as this one is fast filling up.
There isn't really alot of creative writing in there, its more that I'm writing my thoughts and emotions as there is alot on my mind at the moment. Although, there is a wee little bit of creativity lurking in the pages there.

So....thats it for the day!

This is me.
Aged at not quite 31 years of age.
Gulp.

I have decided to take alot more photo's this year, and to upload here to keep track of them.
I've decided I need more photo's in my life.
More photo's of me.
More photo's of my family.
More photo's of my friends.
More photo's of anything that is important to me.
Or even just photo's of anything that takes my fancy.

For now, I will be taking photo's on either my phone, or on my daughters compact digital camera.
I do plan to buy a digital SLR very soon, along with a few filters.
And maybe also some other bits and pieces.

These two photo's here are nearly the same.
They are the same candle, but obviously, have different effects applied to them.

I do love using candles...everything about them draws me in.
Their colour.
Their scent.
The mesmerising flame.
Yes, I am a romantic at heart.
